No matter where you are in your practice, my approach is a holistic one to unite mind, body and spirit.

My Trauma Informed Yoga Certification supports you on your healing journey by promoting resilience and cultivating self-compassion through mindful movement and breathwork. Trauma-informed yoga is different from traditional yoga as its focus provides a safe and gentle approach to build confidence, establish safety in the body, and lessen trauma response symptoms. It helps to regulate one’s nervous system, particularly the fight, flight, or freeze response.

I offer private yoga sessions in my office if you would like to experience a safe and gentle way to to help you find a sense of grounding and support in your body, to connect to sensations in a safe way, and to use the practice to help you trust your body’s signals again. Here you can learn to self-regulate and find a sense of physical, emotional, and psychological safety, as well as presence and balance. This practice is meant to help create a sense of support so that you can feel sensations and emotions without being overwhelmed.

A certified, professional yoga teacher since 2016, I am an experienced yoga teacher, and a continuing education provider (through Yoga Alliance), with advanced certifications in many forms of yoga: Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, and Yoga Nidra.

I am a Trauma Informed Yoga certified teacher.
